The Long and Short of It...

 How could this sunrise ....

turn into such a dull sky?
Lorrie and I finish chores in record time these days.  She has gone crazy with the cross shredder and we are developing quite a pile of bedding in our "stock" room.
It was time to groom Moon.
 Speaking of grooming....
I can't get an appointment for Gucci and Phoebe until the end of May.  They are in need.

When she comes in, Abbe and Berlin follow, as they think they are missing something.

Chorus today.  We have several performances coming up starting May 1st and ending on the 17th.
It's going to be an incredibly busy month.
Gary did not have to work today so he took the time to get our riding lawn mower going!  Yes!
I have been dying to mow the lawn....
Got this section done and it started to rain.
By the time I went out to do evening chores, the temperature was ready to take a gigunda dive...
from 68 to the low 40s (maybe lower).  OUch.
Tucked those girlies in and went back to the house for a simple supper.
 Johnny cake....an apple/carrot/craisin/peanut salad....
and leftover bean soup that I had stashed in the freezer....smart move.

THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE FOLLOWING SANDRA STEINGRABER'S STINT IN JAIL,
HERE IS A LINK TO HER LATEST LETTER.

We have cold foggy weather today. I made a rhubarb pie - first of the season. I'm tempted to eat the whole thing for dinner by myself. Your place is looking so green! Ours is already turning brown.
